Guys, I want to sandblast my receiver( upper/lower that I did in Molyresin.
I know I can probably repaint the new Molyresin over it but I dont think it is a good idea.
Is there a local member who can hook me up with the appartus ? Can pay of the media used.
BTW, for a AR type lower, what media is used as the receiver are made of aluminum???

You'll want to use Aluminum Oxide. I've never worked with Molyresin, so I don't know much about how it was prepped before. I know with Duracoat, I can shoot a receiver at 40-60psi and get the old Duracoat off without jacking up the original anodizing underneath.
