I liked the Rise Armament RA-434 so much I put it in both my AR's.

For my AR build I picked up a JMT Saber that I really like. It was $89. #.5 lb. pull. Very crisp.

Is that 5 lbs or 1/2 lb.?

    I can't imagine a .5 pound trigger, especially on a defensive weapon.

2.5 to 3.5 pounds works great for me. If I get to the point that feels heavy, I think I need to work out my grip.

For the guy who asked about using a Larue MBT 2S trigger in a Ruger 556....for what it's worth...I just installed the MBT 2S in my Del-Ton AR and my Ruger 556...absolutely love this trigger. Easy smooth takeup...hit a definite wall, then breaks crisp..no guessing about when it's going to break. Great for both bench rest and if ever needed for defense. Not so light as to get an unintentional discharge, but light enough to be more accurate at the range. I'd recommend highly.
