Need help ID'ing a Shotgun

A friend of mine has a double barrel side by side with some nice engraving on it looks alot like his LC Smith, but the only stamped item i saw on it appered to be "pelace" or "Balage". anyone have any idea what it could be? Sorry i dont have pics but if i can take some ill post.

Pics would be helpful for sure. How long are the barrels? Are the engravings gold inlaid or anything like that?

Sarge, if the shotgun is in Houston, you might want to take it to Briley Mfg for identification and appraisal. Those guys know their stuff.
