    Depends. I sold a gun 50/50 and charged a 10% premium for 50/50. So it made more sense to me to do 50/50 for more $$$ with the 50% non refundable.

    It's not like cancelled out when the item is transferred to someone else?

    It is cancelled when you get it (by writing SN on it). Just like the cancelled stamp on a pack of smokes or booze.

    Sure, for the seller LOL

    I was looking for it to make sense for both buyer and seller.

    Since these items are so hard to sell, it may help to give the buyer some reassurance.
