In the same condition, L.D. I'm seriously considering selling my hunting gear. I'll have to win the lottery to get on any decent property - in which case I could new gear, I guess. Prices are high, scammers are everywhere, and the last place I tried that I could afford was overrun with wahoos, and their wives/girlfriends/kids/dogs and poachers.

Sounds like you were in a East Texas lease. I had that same problem when I hunted timber properties in Polk County. I left and said no more and now I hunt in family properties in Edwards Plateau or South Texas near Floresville.

Exactly right. One guy put GPS dog collars on his kids and turned them loose with cheap 4-wheelers to zoom around the place.

That's ridiculous. Lol. Sorry to hear that's what's out there gents. Should look at out of state leases. I know a few members here have had great success doing that. Maybe OK, AR or Kansas. I consider myself lucky to have always had friends with property.

I also knew a guy who offered cheap hog hunts and deer down near Rock springs but it's a long drive.
