No, the witness stated there was no photographic or physical proof that Gallagher did it.

Translated: the dead guy was stabbed: there isn’t a picture of Gallagher doing the deed and the deed was done with a blade is not distinctive enough to be a forensic match to whatever bald Gallagher possessed.

Generally speaking, in war and/or battle, I believe politicians should state the objective, and unleash the warfighters achieve it as efficiently as possible.

War is hell, and politically motivated ROE’s do nothing but get our people killed when the ROE’s are used against us.

Dr. Frank Sheridan, a forensic pathologist, told a Navy prosecutor earlier that the alleged victim's injuries were consistent with a stab wound, but later-- when questioned by Gallagher's attorney-- appeared to cast doubt on his earlier comments.

The article stated there is no autopsy evidence.

Guess we will just have to wait on the verdict.

If the stabbing was the only charge, I could see giving him the benefit of the doubt; but Gallagher has a long history of such acts, and multiple other charges against him, therefore I am much less inclined to do so.

And how many enemy autopsies are performed in combat? It's a defense tactic, but hopefully the board will see past it.

I don't know if he is guilty of this act or not. Neither does anyone here.

He is on trial for this alleged offense, not for "a long history of such acts, and multiple other charges against him".

Last time I checked, in America someone is innocent until proven guilty.

We will have to wait and see how the verdict comes in.

I would opine that someone is innocent until voted guilty by the jury, proven or not.

It’s a shame we lost Chris Kyle.

Wish we could trade him for this guy.

Sad that the media always has to make the above sound more dramatic than the standard, almost perfunctory request made at this time by any defense attorney worth his salt.

Actually, that is the very definition of proven guilty - whether people agree with the verdict or not.
