Does anyone else know about this group? I mean, I am already a Lifetime member of the NRA, and these cats keep sending me emails and letters wanting me to join. Anyone else getting these?

I joined. I am an NRA member as well.

I believe they are not as legislatively/politically active as the NRA, but are dedicated to the same cause.

    I figured it couldn't hurt.

Ran into them at the gun show in Waco a while back. Seem decent enough that I ended joining them. Figured another group helping to keep our firearms in our hands can't be a bad thing.

My neighbor has that on their truck and I was wondering what the hell it stood for.
He's a rough older gentleman so I figured it was his roots showing....

They were at the 2014 premiere show, got a sticker from them. I did not join though.

I've been a front line defender member for a year now. I started by just following them on fb and eventually joined their email list before actually joining. They would sent me surveys asking me to put in my 2 cents and would send me politicians phone numbers to call or make phone calls on my behalf and would send me videos of commercials they ran with the money they raised talking about politicians in different states who are against our rights or for them. I just felt that they involved my personal input as a citizen wanting to fight for our rights to bear arms. I'm also a member of the NRA and it just seemed like I was getting more emails about wineries, life insurance, and identity theft. But I do love reading American Rifleman. I just felt like more of a voice with the NAGR then just a member number.
