And yet a majority of stories still refer to it as a "trans woman", which in its typical usage contradicts that description.

And this whole "assigned xxxx at birth" thing is its own kind of offensive, but that's another story.

Too much reliance on perscriptions currently, it seems. There are a lot of "miracle drugs" out there that really do amazing things for a lot of people who would otherwise be completely nonfunctional...but it seems mood-altering drugs aren't always perscribed with enough dilligence and monitoring.

OTOH, if a guard gets to know some of the kids, it might be more likely that said guard would be willing to die to protect them. The position needs decent screening, obviously.

The videos outside clearly showed that some of the parents in Uvalde were willing to risk their lives to go in, stupid police restraining them. Uvalde wasn't just cowardice, it was outright criminal from all appearances.
