For any of you that are better at deep research that I am, I have a mission should you choose to accept it.

Back in the mid 70's there was a short lived magazine called Omni. I read a piece that was written as a memo to the president on strange, seemingly unrelated events that turned out to be terroristic attacks. Substations were one of the targets.

I do not recall the nom de plume he used, but it was written by G. Gordon Liddy.

Omni lasted until about 1989, if I recall.

These aren't things I wish for the general public to know.

I have heavily edited some posts in this thread.
I ask, if you know how to disable essential infrastructure, don't post it on TGT.
It's not the kind of information sharing I want to be associated with.

    Thanks.
    100% agree!

Press conference yesterday said Thursday before power was restored but I know some folks had power again last night. Not sure how many people are still affected.

I think I may have had a subscription for a while? Kinda science-y?

Sciency and science-fictiony, in equal measures. I had a subscription all through high school. My mother just about fainted when she opened one issue and saw that Bob Guccione was the publisher. Most if not all issues are online now: https://archive.org/details/omni-archive/Best_of_OMNI_1_1980/

Oddly, the archive shows it lasting till 1995, but I swear I remember it folding in 1989 and the remainder of my subscription being replaced by another magazine I had little to no interest in.

    Agree.

Started to share some thoughts based on industry knowledge, but then thought better of it.

not the first time. not the first place. I've even seen it written about in doomer fiction. maybe some old folks remember. won't mention the sources, but reminds me of the 'wonderful' novel by the renown author about terrorists using planes to take down buildings... definitely agree it doesn't sound like some local retard, but these days...? wonder what caliber?
