Moving to TX from SC

I first got a permit to carry concealed in Virginia in 1994. At that time, all I had to do was fill out a form similar to a 4473 and the local sheriff approved it. No testing at all. When I moved to South Carolina in 2001I was required to take training, classroom and range.
I plan to move to Hardin County, TX just after the first of the year. Will I able to transfer my SC license or will I need to start all over again? I have tried to search for this online but I can't find any answers.

You will need to take the Texas LTC course to obtain a Texas LTC

I'm coming to the Big Thicket for a few days towards the end of the year. Then hopefully everything aligns for an early spring move. I'm getting loose ends tied up here but still a lot to do.
