Before moving to Texas, I lived in Atlanta for over 20 years. I honestly thought I'd stay in Georgia forever, and I knew for sure I wasn't going to move somewhere if it meant I had to sell off some or all of my firearms.

But, I got a job offer I couldn't refuse that required me to move to Austin a few months ago, and so far Texas has been great.

Back when I lived in Georgia, I was involved in the main Georgia gun organization that lobbied state legislators with changing gun laws for the better (mostly with repealing restrictions for where people with permits could carry). Hopefully I'll have time to help out here in Texas as well.

    Anyways, hello!

I'm sure you agree TX is better. I had 14 years in Atlanta, then returned to TX 6 years ago to retire.
I only miss the many trees and wildlife of N. Ga.
Don't miss Atlanta freeways and traffic everywhere.
