    This is why we can't have nice things. Asshats killing stuff that doesn't need killing.
    I contend that if a big cat is so ballsy it lets you actually see it, it is too brave to be around safely.
    TPWD also thinks this cat may have been a released pet due to its weight ( 160lbs, Texas pumas tend to be somewhat smaller)
    Think feral dog, but 20x more dangerous.
    If TPWDis correct in the assessment that this cat was a pet, it is even more dangerous as it is a feral pet that has no instinctive fear of humans.

    Had a mountain lion near here years ago. Could always tell which area of it’s very large territory it was roaming by the location of the dogs it killed.

    Not saying they should be wiped out, but not upset a hunter got this one either. Hope he can afford a really good taxidermist.
