Many moons ago, my wife got me into a tactical training class, and she took the class with me.

She had zero training and had shot very little up to that point.

Well during the training, she was good.
Maybe a bit uncomfortably good LOL

Thing is, women have been stepping up to the firing line and shooting guns for decades. It just seems that some want to finally take notice for whatever reason. Many sisters, wives, mothers, girlfriends and daughters have been shooting for eons but no one seemed to take notice until it was the fashionable thing to do. I would suspect it probably has something to do with some sort of marketing strategy to sell guns and accessories to the female segment of the sport.

I have been trying to get women more involved in shooting for years. And there is a lot that are. But most were not buying their own guns. Borrowing from spouse, boyfriend or friends. Now, they are buying their own gun specifically for themselves.
    I like this trend.

Possibly has something to do with “influencers”. As several have stated, women have been shooting for many many years. Now with social media, these influencers and manufacturers are aiming towards women. Instagram and YouTube are full of females that are geared up in tacticool clothing, shooting “cool guns”, running training courses and posing for photo shoots. A lot of money to be made.
