Missed up gun

I have this old marlin model 60 and the trigger graud broke off and it empty all the ammo out lik it was a fully auto . Were can I get parts for a good prize and why did it do that?

Midway USA would have parts. Without seeing the gun I'll not guess why it ran though so much ammo at once.

When the trigger guard broke, it probably allowed the disconnector to not catch, thus ... mag dump when you pull the trigger.

Yes, Overall the 10\22 is a good gun out of the box that can turn into a great gun with a few easy modifications.

Don't give up on that model 60 though they are good guns. If you don't want it I'll give you $30 for it as is.

As I said don't give up on it. Get the parts and put it back into the rotation. At least don't leave it as is or it could be some legal trouble for loosing too many rounds with a single tug on the trigger.

I think I will have a locol gun smith take a look at it and have it fixed it a nice gun
