    Sigh. . . . . You & they will outgrow that issue.

    My "Kids" are 55, 56, & 57. . . . . . . . Grand-Kids approach 30.

    .
    Yes. They did.
When they reached adulthood and were responsible for their own actions. And the consequences of them.
As long as they are minors, living in MY home, and MY responsibility, then I control what they do and "own".
As far as that goes, they are now grown, but I still control who does what or possesses what on my property.

Apparently a parent of a "mentally distressed" minor child provided the firearm that their child used to kill 4 students.

The parent(s) may be charged with 4 counts of manslaughter. Should the parents be held to this level of responsibility?

I think the answer may likely yes. What say you?

Accordingly, it would follow that most murderer's parents should be executed?

I probably would have rolled my eyes at that, but I did see some of the trial and what a clusterf***. Mom admitted to ignoring the kid's pleas for mental help. They said her response was to laugh at him. And she affirmed on the stand.
    Yikes.

^ Too broad of a question.

Obviously a 30-year old murderer is solely responsible for his own actions.

But our society must return to the belief that parents are to be parental and held responsible for raising their children up right into our society.

... But irresponsibility abounds everywhere we look now days.

If bullying was being allowed, the school and the parents of the bullies share in responsibility to some degree.

This does cause some concern, as it may set a precedent that can be abused.

The prosecution stated the parents left him in school. So are they charging the school officials also for not have made him go home?

Certainly parenting was a contributing factor and the challenge is how to hold them accountable. Guess this is one method.

Not sure where else to post this, move if needed. Look up Jennifer Crumbley of Michigan. While I believe accountability is due with minors and firearms, this ruling has set a new legal precedent. The mother of a 15 year old school shooter was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter. After reading articles about the case,my opinion is justice was grossly unachieved. What do you think?

    I am in Michigan...
Our Governess, AG, and SOS are all cunts.
In about a week, 1300 pages of ephed-up gun laws go in effect.
My buddy in Weatherford is lobbying hard to get me to move...

Bartenders have been held liable for the deaths caused by patrons they over-served for a long time now.

Her problem was lying to the jury. She tried to paint a picture being a saintly mother, then it came out she was whoring around and playing with horses while the kid was left alone.

Add to it that both parents said work was too important for them to take their kid out of school on the day he shot the 4 victims, then the mom set up a date with one of her boyfriends instead of actually going to work.
