Good running mep802a 5kw generator.
Runs quietly at 1800rpm and sips fuel.
Trailer mounted and runs off 55gal auxiliary tank on rear.
Has been set up to be plug and play for house transfer panel with side mounted outlet box for l14-30 30amp 220v cord hookup.

Pintle hitch, hydraulic surge brakes, manual parking brakes
Have recently load tested and have replacement filters to go with it.
Registered and tagged trailer with 12v (4-pin) led light conversion.

Manufacture date appears to be 1997, which makes a little more sense for size. I will say though, this likely is another case of "they don't make them like they used to".

It looks mil surp, big on the outside for making it quiet, that gen set will do 5kw all day every day. Gen sets are made to run at full load, they don't like 1/2 loads

It is milsurp. I’ve pulled power from MEP-802s for years while deployed across a dozen or so countries spanning four continents. They’re nothing but a consistent, reliable genset.
