    Are there any good shops in El Paso? Going to be doing an engine rebuild soon and I'm gona need a shop to do a lot of work for me, but I don't know the area very well and don't want to get ripped off.

    I do not know of any trustworthy shops, many of the shops send the blocks to Juarez for machining, that probably has stopped now. I recommend shipping the block to a rebuilder somewhere else or buy a Jasper engine. El Paso is a desert for good machine shops you can trust.

    Or you can send the thing to Odessa and i'll build you a turn key engine. I dont know much about El Paso any more. Years, and years ago I loved it there, but it got to the point that anytime I went to El Paso, they stole everything I took with me!!!
