Looking for a range near McAllen...

Dad and I spend alot of time down in McAllen because his doctor relocated there. So, every two months we pack up and drive the almost 700 miles from North TX/Southern OK to McAllen. But of course, during the colder months here in North TX we usually lose a couple months of shooting time at the range because of cold, windy nasty days, but its always at least 20-30 degrees warmer down there.

Soooo.... If anyone knows of a good range to go to, that isnt going to charge an arm and a leg to shoot one day, that allows rifles, pistols and has at least 300 yards to play with. I keep finding some but they are either private or do not have the range to play with.

Try this place out, never been there myself (live closer to the Brownsville area) but I have friends that shoot there all the time.
