looking for a Cheap remington 700 in 223

I'm curious; why .223? It's an ok cartridge for a semiauto, but most people would want a bolt action with a better caliber.

As far as that's concerned, if money is the limitation, there are good rifles in other brands at lower prices.

New SPS go one sell for 450-500 quite frequently.

I picked up a new sps with DM, scope and case 500 a few months ago. And that was a long action.

I'm thinking someone is wanting to build it into a 300 blackout bolt gun...

But that's just what I would do, not everyone has drank that kool-aid, yet.

If he is looking for any short action cabelas has a new adl in 22-250 (i think) for 450.

Same price I would go new...

Did you ever find your rifle? I have a couple of short action rifles for sale. They are .243 caliber though. I'm looking to get a 204 and a 223 also.

If you're interested in the .243 let me know. I was planning on listing this particular .243 another Ruger .243, 270WSM, .280 and a Diamond bow at the end of the week. I live in Cedar Park. It's a Remington Model 700 in .243 caliber with base and rings only- NO SCOPE, synthetic stock and a sling, hard case and 1 possibly 2 boxes of 100gr. Remington ammo. It has a matte blued barrel. I have fired the rifle maybe 40 times. I bought the rifle brand new last year. Asking price: $450.00. If you want/need a scope, I could leave the 3X9-50 Nikon scope with Duplex Reticle on it for $550.00, which is I see is a little more than you wanted to spend. I can remove the scope though. Let me know.
