    Good afternoon y’all.

Looking for recommendations on long range courses in Texas. Brother-in-law’s birthday is coming up and wanted to take a course with him as a gift.

An introduction class would be great. Something that will take us out to 1,000 yards and teach some of the fundamentals. If anyone has had good experiences with or have heard of a good place for something like this I would greatly appreciate recommendations.

    Thanks!

North East Texas Tactical class went well. About 6 hours in the classroom and about 2 hours of range time. Great info in the classroom. Instructor was great too. Was able to make it out to 1500 yards after previously only going out to 300.

    I’d recommend this class.

Did they confirm scope was mounted well for you? Did you zero gear?

    How basic did they start?

I actually rented a 6.5 creedmoor and it was already zeroed. Rise and length of pull was adjustable. The range time began with the class zeroing/confirming zero.

The class started very basic. But still had all the important information. All you really need to know going in is firearm safety.

    Highly recommended.
He and 2 other former mil snipers teach and may know of a class upcoming.
I took a 2-day 1 mile course with about 8-10 others. It’s all fundamentals and reading the wind.
First shot was a shoulder hit. Second was in the belly button.
Everyone in the class was successful.

He taught this old dog a new trick.
