Any SA certified armorers around? I have a bit of s unique situation. I own two early Glock 17 with original black parts/no six point upgrade. Here are my issues: 1.) I want the parts replaced. 2.) I want to keep my old black parts since they are very hard to find these days. 3.) I don't want to pay for it.

Glock sent out Technical Bulletin #920403, which means they will pay for the work. Problem #4: I took my pistols in to Dury's and was told they'd have to be mailed to Glock, as required by all Tech Bulletins. Obviously Glock won't be giving me my black parts back.

Howevere, in several other places I've read of certified armorer's swapping the parts on site with no problem. Was Dury's trying to pull some sort of fast one? Is there anyone in town who can do this work for me? Thanks.
