It's been over ten years since they got a cent from me and their rag still arrives monthly.
I get two copies each month...one with a spelling error in my first name and one without. I keep telling them to stop, but I think their membership dept gets paid by the call or magazine, and double for sending out requests for more money.

Also a life member. Cannot recommend. It's unfortunate since there are so many good people that are members and that are still active in the organization. Nothing will change until there's a significant change of leadership.

GOA, FPC, and SAF are the way (I'm sure I'm forgetting some). FPC is a bit persistent on donation requests, but they do put in good work.

So, I'm scrolling through the PSA website and adding stuff to my list, when I go to my cart to see how much is what. And I notice they no longer contribute to the NRA. They are now donating to GOA. That speaks volumes to me.

I've been a Life Member of the NRA since 1976. I think it was $125 then and you could split it up into 4 quarterly payments.

The NRA was once the voice of the gun owner, not so much these days. Today, I would support GOA.

I'm a life nember since '92 and a member since the '70s. I "upgraded" my membership a couple times, but haven't donated a cent in over 10 years. I do still receive my American Rifleman monthly, but I seldom even look at it.

I don't expect NRA will ever regain my respect.
