    Out here by the lake!
A true gem of a man - and this forum - that is deeply missed. We spent many an hour in my "Outer Office" (garage), looking over 1911's that he couldn't buy, tinkering with a few 1911's and AR's, and generally enjoying each others company. My life is vastly richer having known him....and emptier until we meet again.

It is a hard thing, burying your pals. Heckuva send off though, shots in his honor at his celebration of life. Met his mom who is definitely the reason Sterling was who he was, heart of gold. Sterling was one of my Groomsman, we drank moonshine while we waited on the ladies to get ready which of course took forever. Many fond memories!
