This Los Angeles Times article reveals what many of have thought all along; that the massive efforts by Jerry Brown to overhaul the California immigration, voting, taxation, energy, environment and a host of government controls over businesses was really just a testing ground to see how far the Left could push before safely taking that agenda to the national level. Biden and his cronies (the ones who are really pulling the strings) want to recreate America into a national reflection of everything that has been done in California. In the face of the massive issues California has created, this simply shows that the Democrats don't care about the costs or repercussions, they simply want to advance their "I want to be like Europe" philosophy.
The LA Times operates behind a paywall or you need to disable ad blockers so some of the non-quoted highlights are:
- the new administration will look to California for the basis of new ideas and policies
- Harris as VP is a key part of this plan and is the primary reason she was selected
- Nationalization of major business, energy, justice and healthcare systems are a priority
- Adaptation of some kind of New Green Deal is also a priority but it is likely to carry a different label so as not to give AOC any leverage
- the high speed rail projects are likely to be revived.
Well, you get the idea. Buckle up!
