    Generally what that ad for a lease means is you have 14000 acres that the lease is split between 20 hunters for about 2300 per person for the lease that averages out to 4.25 an acre. They probably will not lease you just a few acres. Most leases like that in Texas are hunting season only and the rest of the year they will allow you to visit to set up blinds feeders etc.

    My leases are year round, and can hunt whatever is in season. However, there are restrictions on general shooting which is not hunting, though camping is allowed.
