The best is to shop in person for a helmet, and trying them on to find the best fitting. Different brands like shoes, can fit differently than another brand. Many times I ordered my helmets, but I knew the size and brand I needed, and what fit me. I could get a better price online.

Pretty much what I did. Shoei and HJC fit me about the same (have two of each), so I’ve got my sizes and can order online and be confident it will fit.

I think at this point you should bite the bullet and just sign yourself up for an MSF class. No better time than the present to get things done.

I’m hoping for a little cooler weather. But I may just have to suffer boarder line heat stroke and get it done
