    Much cheaper here.

Note - Rewrote this after doing some more looking.

That's the stripped version that only comes with one top strap, two magazines, and no holster.

Looking at the Lancer site, to get the same thing you'd have to add -
    • Another $100 magazine, an
    • $80 magwell, the
    • $WhoKnows red dot, the
    • $Unavailable red dot rail, the
    • $LooksDadgumExpensive holster, and
    • various other bits I can't identify.
Lancer is also the only place to get one with a threaded barrel.

The stripped version from Battle Hawk might be fine for a competitor in an iron sight class who only needs a couple of more magazines and already has one of those muzzle plug speed holsters that will work with some adjustments.

But it's not really saving much, if anything, over the kit they'll eventually acquire. IMO, anyway.

I’m betting that at 25 yards it won’t out shoot a Sig P210 Target enough to justify the difference in price.
I'm sure that's true for 99%+ of shooters. But Laugo doesn't care about them. They're building the pistol for that fraction of a percent of top-level speed shooters for whom the improvement in recoil characteristics is easily worth $5K, $10K, or whatever it costs.

You right. I wasn’t considering that. I was just thinking within the confines of my bottom-feeder existense.

I'm assuming, given it's price point, that they are going for a very small part of a niche market with this pistol. That 1% that is willing to pay that much for a pistol that they think will increase their scoring when shooting competively.

They probably are not in the least concerned about the average shooter, or anyone that doesn't have deep pockets.

I should get one and tell the wife it's an investment. I would have to shoot it of course. It's bound to be stupid quiet with a can on it.

Now that is a sexy looking pistol. If it looks like it belongs in the aliens franchise, i instantly want it. But that price, my first damn motorcycle didn't even cost that much. So that would have to be a pass for me.

A friend of mine has a couple.
I've shot it and yes its pretty damn cool.
Another friend describes it as "Like shooting a lazer"
IE dead on accurate and little recoil.

You can only shoot one gun at a time may as well be the best.
I'm still trying to get comfortable with the price. We'll see.

    This is interesting too;
