Hello wanted to know what is a better laser the Lasermax or Crimson TRace

And it depends on what you are wanting? A laser for a handgun or a laser for a AR or rifle.

My department carries Lasermax in all of our Glock 31s. I have never heard a complaint.

Crimson Trace makes a great (albeit overpriced) product, with fantastic customer service. I've heard a few complaints about Lasermax in the past, but they weren't widespread.

How does it affect the slide stop? Can you still lock it manually? Does it still auto-lock when the mag has been emptied?

Doesn't affect anything. You can still lock it manually, and it still locks when last shot fired. A few guys didnt know they had it there until I told them how to turn it on. I love mine.

They are both good but I like C.T. I have C.T's on my S & W 442 and my wifes 642. Love em!
