I found this guy on Facebook and he seems to be a really nice dude. Got to looking at his work and man he makes some pretty nice cutlery. I really want that SnakeBull as an every day knife. Maybe if I beg my entire family I can negotiate to get one for my birthday / Christmas for the next 2 years.

I like the designs because they are simple but useable. No fancy multi-edge combo serrated Knights Templar steel blades with the grips made of the fallen bones of a Viking warlord. Just a good ol'fashioned knife.

Mid $100s seems like a decent value for what you're getting.

I love the design of the Bull recurve, I just prefer carbon over stainless for fixed blades.

EDIT: Looks like they have a bushcraft line with hardened 1095.

Looking at his web site, he's using pretty good knife steels (154CM, 1095), so his prices are actually not bad at all. I don't see anything particularly exiting about his designs, but they look like decent knives.

    Look him up on bladeforums.com

He started making his own knives only a few years ago. But he has a good reputation. Just not as widespread.

I just ordered my first knife of his, under $100 for a 1095, 4.5" camp knife, with leather sheath to boot. Should arrive this week. I like his clean lines and simple design.

Definitely not outrageous in price and I don't think you'd be disappointed, either.

I'll post a pic and some reviews when I receive mine.

(my other fixed blade is a Buck 119 special, but somehow I never could bring myself to use it while camping. I think it's just too beastly looking for some of my more skittish friends.)
