Not a religious or religion thread but the verse is appropriate as a title referring to one liberals awakening. Again not to discuss religion rather what comes after one awakening.

    Spot on.

The thing about socialism is it doesn’t produce jobs. Want to get those people off the streets? Promote regulated capitalism and make jobs. Promote charity and job cores. The left is hypocritical and wealth redistribution doesn’t come up when it’s their own lifestyle in question.

Republicans have plenty of swamp creatures.

In general it’s why the narrative businesses need to hold this huge tax burden is silly. If they do they can’t afford to hire as many people or become innovative.
Edit: The tax burden should be reset. Government spending is out of control and crap that serves the American people no good needs to stop.
We have the ability to not have a big tax burden on anyone. Individual or business.

California is the model on what not to do. Simple answer to liberals who look around and see their living in a shit hole is: it’s not working.

Irony of socialism. It provides the greatest of income inequality.

Massive leadership caste of rich and massive serf class of people equal in poverty and misery.

Ironic only because it claims to do otherwise.

    The truth is out there.

Whether you are religious or not, the Bible does hold many basic truths.

"And professing themselves to be wise, they became as fools."

I don't have to be a christian, or even religious to see evidence of that in today's society with "woke-ness". They just make themselves look ridiculous.

Remember hunting "Snipe" as kids? How many kids professed to actually seeing a snipe when they never existed. Peer Pressure.

Doesn’t look like she see’s the problems with her ideology, more like she doesn’t feel like democrats are pushing it hard enough. She’s complaining about not enough equity…

IMO she’s using key words that display her dislike for democrats and possibly her turn to being more conservative.

Tandler has been a registered Democrat for 18 years. She grew up in a progressive family. She attended a progressive school. Her social circle is mostly progressives.

But if the current state of San Francisco is a representation of the progressive worldview, Tandler made clear Sunday she no longer wants to be associated with progressive liberal politics......

    .......
After all, Tandler explained, "Progressives tend to blame Republicans for almost everything. Yet here we are — not a Republican in sight."

Despite the monumental humanitarian crises plaguing San Francisco, Tandler observed that city progressives appear more interested in solving social issues than saving lives.

"We probably have more 'Black Lives Matter' signs up than any city in the nation. 40% of our homeless people are Black. Do their lives matter...? Or is this just about virtue signaling and moral grandstanding?"

The only black lives that matter are props for the marxist puppet show. Not homelesss not murdered children cause those live show their own failures and wont bring in guilty white racist liberal cash.

Those lives should matter most of all IMHO.

Well, she opened her eyes and now sees things for what they are. It's a start, but hardly does a damn thing to change anything in the least. So far, all I'm seeing is she is moaning about the political party she has belonged to for many years, and how bad things are.

Here's the big question. Where does she go from here and what does she do to try and change those conditions.

Merely realizing there is a problem, doesn't fix the the problem. Coming up with some solutions is what needs to happen

That seems to be the fall back excuse where people want to place the blame.

Trump wasn't perfect, but things were starting to get much better than they had been in many years with him as president.

Biden's accomplishments? Getting his diaper changed daily!
Biden has accomplished so much though. I hear yesterday he was able to dress himself and go to the bathroom alone.

I was just going to say this. She is spot on in her criticism of the city and the democrats but it reads to me as if she is wanting more “true progressivism”.

Not lower taxes but “better use” of those taxes as if were.
