You know - I'm glad you did that - I forgot the PK380 exists! We went shooting with some friends this weekend, I taught the wife of the other couple how to shoot - she'd only shot one round thru a gun before, and it didn't end well. She had gotten slide bite (wasn't shown how to hold a semi auto, had her support thumb over the web of her shooting hand) then turned toward hubs with finger on trigger, round in chamber. He kinda lost his shit, there was yelling, and she'd been scared to try again.

I had her try a number of different guns to get her eased into it and see what she liked - she really liked my Walther P22 when it wasn't short-stroking and failing to pick up the next round, or failing to extract the just-fired round. She also liked a .22 revolver we brought.

Her own SCCY that hubs had bought her, turned out she *and* hubs hated that gun.

The PK380 is essentially an upscaled P22 - same general ergonomics, same manual of arms. .380 is better than .22 for defensive use.

I think with that Sparc and the mount - that PK380 would have next to no muzzle climb, the sight & mount probably weight as much as the gun
