"Israel has decided — we won’t enable the members of Congress to enter the country,” Hotovely told public broadcaster Kan. "We won’t allow those who deny our right to exist in this world to enter Israel. In principle, this is a very justified decision."

The decision confirms earlier reports that Israeli officials were leaning in that direction. Earlier Thursday, President Trump even publicly prodded Israel to stand firm in blocking Omar and Tlaib.

"It would show great weakness if Israel allowed Rep. Omar and Rep.Tlaib to visit," Trump tweeted Thursday morning. "They hate Israel & all Jewish people, & there is nothing that can be said or done to change their minds. Minnesota and Michigan will have a hard time putting them back in office. They are a disgrace!"

Absolutely the right decision by the Israeli government. Folks are absolutely free to espouse their own ideas and viewpoints--one way or the other. However, the Israeli government has in-place, restrictions on the activities of the BDS movement within its borders. As the stated reason for Omar and Tlaib to enter Israel had been to be directly involved with BDS activities, the government opted to deny their entry.

Interestingly, Israel has said that if Tlaib wants to enter Israel to visit Palestinian relatives of hers in the occupied territories, they would be fine with that. But NOT for direct involvement in BDS activities.

Honestly, what is Israel gonna teach them they don't already know? It is not that they are ignorant. They just abhor liberty, the US, and Israel. I thought that was pretty clear. The most hates crimes in the US are against Jews not blacks.

They specifically stated they wanted to go to “Palestine”. Well, seeing as how Palestine doesn’t exist, they were making a statement by the very manner in which they requested admittance into Israel. This whole boondoggle had EVERYTHING to do with embarrassing the Israeli government and furthering the BDS movement. Fúck ‘em both right in the neck.
