I run a small number of ad and tracker blockers, which seems to really help out a lot here. This site is overly heavy on "non essential" add-ons, IMHO.

Same problem with a couple other similar sites I visit. Some speculate major downloads in the background from gov intruders. Who knows ?

At first I thought it was my desktop computer but other sites were speedy as usual.
