    One license covers you. It is called a License to Carry. It used to be called a Concealed Handgun License before open carry was passed.

    It's dependant on bbl length, they'll give you the paperwork when you register your gun(s) with the state.

    Unlike Commiefornia, the LTC allows you to carry whatever legal firearm you want. Not just the one you qualify with, you can qualify with a .22 and carry your 1911 in Gods caliber, .45ACP. And you can carry more than one.
