"The event was closed to the public, as the nationally known gun safety advocate hosted supporters of the Giffords organization for the inaugural Gun Owners for Safety convention."

Can't have it open to the public - people with differing opinions might show up, and then they'd have to admit their power grab isn't as popular as they pretend.

Was this a libtard convention trying to figure out how to take guns from gun owners? Why else would they prohibit actual legit gun owners from attending? Then it is not a convention but a witch-hunt J6 committee.

Yes, just as real if the public isn't invited. I have been a member of various organizations where we had regional and national conventions for which the public was not invited.

It wasn't that we were worried about having people present with differing opinions as much as it was about not having people be disruptive to the business we were conducting.
