    Another thing I learned.
We're having the interior of the house painted.
Took down a big mirror and moved a curio cabinet with a mirror in the back.
    Speeds in the office improved.
    Mirrors block wifi signals.
We have Starlink and are happy with the speeds

I guess it's kind of like moving a metal wall?

    I didn't know that.
Lots of electronic devices have a thin layer of metal in them to reduce the amount of electronic interference they produce.
Some TV's basically have a giant sheet of it in the back inside panel and against the back of the LCD/LED screen ifself.

Advice on a mesh system would be most welcome.
it has a lot to do with what kinds of speeds your provider gives you. If your under 200mbs almost any current mesh system will work fine. If your at gig+ speed then you need to make sure the systems wi fi and plug ins match what speed you can get.

I ended up grabbing a mesh system that was way overkill for my ISP from costco on black friday.

also want to check how much coverage you can get with each system

One thing to remember with a 3+ unit mesh system you have 1 "main" unit that hooks to your modem
and the others are satellites, and each satellite has to be in range of the Main unit. A satellites cant communicate with another satellites
