Considering most of my shooting takes place @ 300-1200yrds. I'm stuck with my outdoor gun range
Okay, the overhead map I showed was the rifle and pistol range. Here's the shotgun range:
I have never even shot on my clubs shotgun range, that is at another location. I drove past it once by accident.
I've never shot skeet or traps, only dove and quail along with a very few ducks, and the last time was probably when I was 17.
I haven't used the Shotgun range, but it is available for me to shoot at. The ranges are separate.
Outdoors. Hands down. Indoors - too noisy, cramped, can't see the sun.....
For now. They are moving it over by the other one. It’s a really nice range with skeet, trap, 5 stand, and sporting clays.
Me to, on that note anyone know of a good outdoor range in the Round rock area?

The closest outdoor ranges to Round Rock, that I know of, still involve a good 20 or 30 mile drive or so from there. The Firing Line, North of Georgetown, is probably the closest. Best of the West in Liberty Hill, and Lonestar Range and Academy a few miles past Liberty Hill on 183 N. Also Eagle Peak in Leander.
I prefer outdoor ranges except for one thing, buffalo gnats!! They eat me alive at my range and treat 99% DEET buy spray like marinade on a t-bone.
