It's funny, all the people, including myself a while back, that thought the entire Class III thing was a license. Now that I've been through the process, it's one of those things that you kinda look around and go ... well damn, I wish it was a simple license! Fill out a form, mail it in, they do a check and issue you a card and UPIN. From that point, simply take the UPIN and fill out any Form 4s with it and voila, a couple week turnaround!

I know we all don't want the NFA even brought up in Washington as we've got alot to lose and virtually nothing to really gain even with a red Congress, but it's just thinking aloud.

I guess im missing something. A couple week turn around? Sounds pretty simple to me, but like I said im probably missing something.

The couple of weeks turn around is wishful thinking of the "License to purchase a Class III" concept. Purchasing a Class III item with the current ATF Form 4 is currently running about 75-120 days.

You most certainly do not want this reviewed by anyone in Washington at this time in history. It would come back even more restrictive (or banned).

You made a 100 on that ! From 2008 until present we have seen manure load after manure load of costly, terrible legislation and edicts and socialistic garbage eminate from the Nation's Capitol.

If we could make just one change I wish they would make an exception to the May 86 date for full autos. Maybe a separate license for civilians to own new full-auto weapons or conversion kits.

I'd rather see suppressors made non-NFA.

You can buy a suppressor for a few hundred dollars now, the machine guns that I'd like to own start at $12,000.00 and go way past what I've even dreamed of spending.

We can also buy new suppressors currently opposed to recycling 25 + year old collector items.

Anyway, this is something I've thought about for awhile, I guess the real problem is my income doesn't really fit my interest.
