I've been too dependent on handloads.org or .com and since they went tits up I'm floundering.

A manual with the newer powders is what I'm searching for. I'll check out 10Ring for those loadbooksusa pamplets but I don't have much hope for that.

    Thanks

I have the Lee, Lyman, Hornday and Nosler books. Sometimes the manufacturer has great info on their bullets. Thats why I have the Hornady and Lyman books.

I like to cross reference the manuals against each other. They rarely are an exact match.

I doubt you'll find a manual with all the new powders in it. Manuals typically lag 2-3 years behind new powders.

The newest manual on the market is the Sierra #6. A great manual if you use their bullets. Not so much if you don't.

    I got you.

I guess I'll eventually use up the 30+ #s of CFE pistol but not in 38, 38+p nor 357mag.

Fortunately I have a pound or two of 231 I think.

    Thanks.

I just got off the phone with Norm at 10Ring and he directed me to go to that site, enter #1 then go to #4!

I was going to 2, 3 then 4 and it left me no choices!

I use a lot of CFE pistol in .38 & milder .357's. I use it in .44 all too. I've found it to be a pretty versatile powder and it's available at my local Academy!

For $20ish its worth it to me. I like the Hornady manuals. Lots of info on their bullets in there.

I think I have the 50th Lyman now too. I like the Lyman books.

morning, u could look at new powder burn rate chart.
the powders might b there. sometimes looking up
powders on the internet, shows referencing present
powders to new powders. presistance pays.
