Was a great day at the range. Surprised that only a few folks were out. Shooting fast draw (from under a jacket) at multiple targets with a sweet 1911.

ran another 400rds thru it this morning.
Ran great.
Tried some WW .22 ammo. Stuff was keyholing at 25ft. We won’t go there again. It really likes mini-mags.

Went to the newly opened EZ-Range in central Texas today. We popped off a few rounds but were more interested in the newly
acquired land area...

Met EZ this mornin on his way through Fairfield then drove out to see his new place after work this mornin. Had a good time. Beautiful day for a trip to visit. Short visit and popped a few rounds then off to the feed trough.

Due to the fact that my backyard rang area is still somewhat flooded and quite muddy, I'm running low on play ammo., I'm recuperating from a mild though somewhat painful medical procedure relating to major, though possibly, minor, medical issues, and though I occasionally enjoy typing out extensive and various descriptions of various hardware and activities, I normally don't

Killed the hell out of a couple milk jugs and a laundry softner bottle I dug out of the trash. Returned to trash with extra holes. Here endeth the report.

ETA: oh yeah... used a M&P 9mm because that's what was in the holster I was wearing.
