    A Hurricane Warning is in effect from San Luis Pass Texas to Intracoastal City Louisiana.

    A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect from Sargent Texas to San Luis Pass and from east of Intracoastal City to the Mouth of the Mississippi River.

    A Storm Surge Watch is in effect from Freeport Texas to San Luis Pass.

    In its 10 am update, the National Hurricane Center has modified its forecast track for Hurricane Laura, and has shifted the storm’s landfall slightly closer to the Houston-Galveston metro area. We remain within the cone of uncertainty, and need to be prepared for the possibility of additional westward shifts in the track this afternoon. We are still in line for anything from a glancing blow to direct major hurricane landfall.

    Gunz are icky.
    As of 1pm the NWS has the storm tracking right into the TX/LA border area.
    Folks from Boliver eastward are gonna get hit.
    Galveston is evac'ing now.
    Gonna be sporty come wednesday.
    Prayers for those in the path.

    BTW: What round for hurricanes?

    They can feed it and steer it with weather manipulation. You never know what a storm will do. Look at Harvey...over 48” of rain in one week in some areas.
