houston : Circa 1840's Muff Pistol WTT : Trade - WTT

Posted this over on Texas Gun Trader. Didn't know if anyone here was a collector of antiques. Its a cute little gun from the 17th century.

I wonder how well it was pulled out of a woman's hand muffler with that giant hammer sticking up there? Also.....50 caliber? That must have been one amazing woman.

Those were days of flourish over function. Muff most certainly has gained a new difinition today. I'm glad its not an EAR muff gun. That would be no fun at all.

I failed to post its actual size. Overall about 6 1/2" long. Barrel about 2 1/4" Once you got it out of the muff, don't you know it made some noise.

Good guns, but very slippery if you get them wet.
