Houston Area Swap Meet - All things shooting?

What time? It would have been nice to know if I was talking to a fellow TGT member.

I was there 11:30 to 12:00

The swap meet sorta drifted apart by 1PM although I imagine that a few seller are probably still there. Nothing changed from what I posted above.

I will note that one attendee said this meet was about 1/3 the size they usually are.

Besides liability, there's good reason to keep the gathering small by focusing on reloading stuff. The parking lot where this happened is way too small to host an event that turns into a gun show.

If you're headed south on 45 exit 73b, just past the Texaco truck stop turn right on Pruitt Road, at the stop sign left on Pruitt Rd.
It was on the right. It may have been at that Church, I'm not sure.
That's the location where that old truck stop burned down about 30 years ago and some Truck Drivers lost their lives.

The location sounds roughly like where there used to be a periodic gun show. There was never sufficient parking. It was a zoo with no bargains and people packed in like sardines. I gave up on it a long time ago.

I think they send out more details on the mailing list which I’m not on, but I did call them. Basically, no firearm sales are allowed. No tables or tents either. You must sell out of your trunk or pick up bed. There is a post on this thread with the email flyer from a previous swap meet that pretty much describes exactly what they told me.

Assuming nothing family health related gets in the way, I'll be there with powder, ammo, and whatever else I can scrounge that I'd like to send to a good home. Last time, I guess my Trail Boss was priced too low because I got cleaned out as soon as I put it on the trunk lid of my car.

I've still got mine....what did you price yours at? I have an old can of Hercules 2400 I'll never use. I'd rather trade than sell stuff though. Geez now I've got to price stuff.

The misc. I will be bringing is more just to be rid of than make any money.
I'm trying to clear out 30yrs of being a pack rat.
Somewhere along the line I acquired an 8lb. jug of 50BMG powder. I have no recollection of why I bought this back in the day but there it sits. Taking up room. I never used it. It needs to go.
