Anyone have one and want to tell me about it? We've been so impressed with our little HR-V that I'm considering selling my 2019 Ranger and buying a Ridgeline. So far I've only looked at and sat in one.

    It's a dependable suv.
    It's not a truck.

I wouldn’t mind owning one, but I tow and haul too much currently.
Someday, it might be exactly what I need.

Before I got my new car, I did a lot of research. I would just get a new one. Lots of used ones on the market right now that you should avoid like 2019.

My friend isn't towing with them; he has several F350s for that. They do some hauling with the Hondas.

My thinking is this: I get bored quickly. The Ranger is a great truck with fantastic performance from the ecobeast engine, gets great mileage, is dependable... But I'm bored with it and it doesn't do everything we need. Wife is in bad health and will never recover, so any truck we have must be comfortable as a decent car but still have 4WD and a couple of other things. My preference is a Tacoma TRD Pro but at my age, early 70's, I'm not going to be doing much hardcore offroading. Ridgeline would probably fit our needs better than anything else. At least that's what it looks like to me.

My neighbor has had a Ridgeline for several years and hasn't had any problems with it. My Tacoma has been trouble free for several years as well.

If you want comfort then the ridgeline might be better. The ride would be more compliant since it a car based platform. My guess is based off their odyssey van. The towing probably won’t be rated as high as a trucky truck though

    Gunz are icky.
My nieghbor has one. He likes it.
He is an older guy. He uses it for typical suburban homeowner stuff.
Hauling his riding mower, yard stuff, etc.
He doesn’t tow anything or heavy load it.
I’m considering one if the old RAV4 dies on me.

I read somewhere years back they were based on the Accord platform, but that was the initial generation. May have changed with the newer updates, heck might be wrong but probably not because everything you read on the Internet is 100% true.

I wouldn't own one, but I do see a lot of them. Mostly all driven by older guys doing suburban things, never saw anybody try to use it as a truck.

My father in law had one for years - super reliable, very comfortable to drive, and he actually towed an RV with it. He bought another one last year with AWD or 4WD - whatever they call it. It's been great so far. I've driven both of them a fair amount going on hunting trips and have nothing but praise for them.

The Ridgeline used the same chassis as the Pilot and Odyssey. Honda is releasing a new Pilot for '23. Honda usually remodels the Ridgeline and Odyssey within 2-3 yrs after a new Pilot is released
