    Sure the model is correct? I can't find any alphabetical only models in any cross reference list. Western Field seems to have used numerals almost exclusively in their model numbers.

    I'm guessing that what you are actually reading is SB80A. Western Field was the store brand for Montgomery Wards. Various manufacturers made the guns for them. If this model is correct, it was the same as a Savage Model 29. Octagon barrel would indicate that it was made before WWII, after that the barrel was round. It's not particularly collectible, worth maybe $100 - more if in really good condition. Info from Fjestad's Blue Book.
