Hello everyone. I just joined. I found this forum by Googling. I wanted to converse with other Texans about gun ownership. I just received my Texas LTC for the first time today in the mail. I recently purchased my first firearm. I purchased it for self-defense because I moved to a rural area and it would take police a while to respond if I called them. I am glad Texas has friendly gun ownership laws. I believe that people without a criminal background have a right to gun ownership. My daughter just moved into her first apartment in Houston. So, I had her take the class with me and she too now has her Texas LTC and a her first firearm.
