WTB Hell I Was There, by Elmer Keith

I've been wanting to get a copy of Elmer Keith's, Hell I was There, for awhile now.

I guess I should say another copy, since I had one years ago but loaned it to someone off my office shelf. Never got it back and don't remember who it was.

Now that I'm retired, I actually have time to read it!

If you have an extra copy you can spare, I'd sure like to purchase it or trade you something for it! Or, maybe you know where I might find one?

Made me curious, so I looked on Ebay. Some copies are priced at $300. Somebody gave me a copy years ago and I loaned it out to someone I've long forgotten.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

I loaned out a first edition Unintended Consequences to a friend years ago. His wife saw it and threw it in the trash. She thought it was “porn” because of the cover.

I had one years ago that was giving to my by a close friend. He had a letter that Elmer had sent to in response to my buddy’s letter. It was lost during a flood years ago and really miss it.
