    I use some lump charcoal for grilling and regular charcoal for building some coals for my wood on the smoker.

    Lump charcoal generally also lasts longer and burns hotter for grilling than regular charcoal. Wood is better for smoking IMO.

    Thank you for your replies.

    I am familiar with using lump charcoal; I was wondering about that brand in particular.

    I’ve never used it because every I known who has says it ain’t worth it. Lots of handling results in lumps breaking up into chunk pieces and dust.
