    haven't seen it before... but the BSP design he has on there appears to be open-bolt...

    The alphabet agency here on this side of the pond has decided that all Open bolt firearms are too easily convertible to full-auto, so are considered machine guns. Just keep that in mind if you want to build anything.

    Took a quick look. Interesting. Not interested in building anything but it still looks to have some interesting stuff there.

    I've built some 9mm smgs, back in the day, but not to Ludy's design. I used parts of Bill Holme's books and parts of the Minuteman .45 SMG design. Put cans on them, too.

    Remember back when uzi first came here to USA,they where open bolt guns and easily converted. The aft had that changed Ricky ticky

    I have a model A UZI (early semi-auto).

    If I could afford one, I’d buy FA version (maybe in the mini configuration).

    Generally, yes. There are a few exceptions.

    Of course, that fact has no bearing on a discussion of home-made firearms, does it?
