    Clarence Darrow;

    "All men have an emotion to kill; when they strongly dislike some one they involuntarily wish he was dead. I have never killed any one, but I have read some obituary notices with great satisfaction."

    Pretty much sums it up for me...................

    I have a list of folks who will squeal in glee at my inevitable death. I don't care if they do....the feeling is mutual.

    I wonder if some people mourned the passing of Charles Manson?

    I used to think like most of the posters here. When someone I despised died, I celebrated. When Ho Chi Minh (yes my war was Vietnam) died, I celebrated. My brother, who was a Marine on the ground in Vietnam during the Tet Offensive, reminded me that only God judges. Man should only observe. I try to keep that in mind as one day, I will pass and I want a favorable judgement.
    Celebrate might not fit my feeling, smiling at knowing God saw fit to remove a man who worked against so much I stand for from this earth might me more like it.

    Exactly right
    I remember being disgusted by the left partying in the streets when Margaret Thatcher died.
    I wouldnt celebrate, or enjoy the passing of someone I disagree with politically, but I definitely won't loose any sleep over it.
